I have never received anything when I have gone short they charge you if your short they charge you if your long.

BUT their platform is one of the best. I would use their charts and trade with another provider for best value for money.

In fact if you trade with CMC markets you are complete mug i would know I have traded with them for 4 years.

If you are currently using the Market Maker platform they will try to trick you into changing and increase your spreads and your fee's ignore them don't swap make sure to keep your old account active if you do open a new one.

Finally don't trust a word their customer service of staff say to you they will lie and mislead you all the way all they care about is making money not you. I repeat they will LIE to you!

It honestly is a rotten company but it does belong in part to Goldman so apple and the tree.
