Three words of word of advice to anyone buying cycling stuff online. (1) Get (2) It (3) Here.
I live in the USA, in upper Manhattan, a place dripping with money and resources, and infamous for providing everything you could possibly want within a few blocks of wherever you are. Yet my go-to shop is on the other side of the Atlantic. Why? Among the reasons cited below, their service was truly, startlingly superb. Near-instaneous, personal email replies with insightful, helpful answers to any questions I had. Warmth and enthusiastic customer care. Not easy to convey via web -- yet somehow they do.

MIND-BENDING SELECTION AND AVAILABILITY
The selection of top brands, local and international, for the masses or the pickiest connoisseur is truly vast –they have everything, from super cheap, super awesome sunglasses to rare, leather handle-bar tape. Plus discontinued items, things that everyone else sells out of. Basically, if you can't find it ANYWHERE, they will have it – or get it for you. Fast.

FIRST-CLASS QUALITY --> BONA FIDE ARTISANS AND CRAFTSMEN
From everyone I've spoken to and all the stuff I've seen, the finish and workmanship and extra care apparent in built-up bikes, spring overhauls, hand-made wheels, clothes – everything they sell out of shop, or ship overseas is second-to-none.

IF YOU'RE AMERICAN OR CANADIAN YOU CAN SAVE ABOUT 50% – INCLUDING SHIPPING!!!
I suspect selection, smart inventory management and volume is part of it but otherwise I have no idea how they can beat the prices of virtually every other distributor on many of their items. Especially compared to United States prices. You'll spend as little as half on tires, gloves, helmets, shorts, hand-built wheels, frames, glasses. In a word: wow.
