I asked to test ride a bike after the one I tried first was too small. I went in at the agreed time. It was not built.
I went in again and was taken through the set up and tried the bike. I liked it.
I decided to purchase the bike. At no point did three of the sales staff support or offer any useful advice. One lad was really helpful and seemed to be concerned to help me make a good choice.
I booked in for a 1 month check up. The guy laughed as I made an appointment, "yeah, don't leave an answerphone message - we just ignore them".
There were some problems with the bike that needed attention. The mechanic didn't even listen to what needed attention, tightened a the brakes and gave the bike back to me and went into the back room.
JE James is a well presented and excited shop to be - wall to wall bikes and accessories. It is such a shame the employees care so little for their customers.
