i bought my bog standard corsa 1.4 sri about 4 months ago and being a teenage boy ive moded the car. the car has 90bhp standard and im now pushing 130bhp. i have chipped, mapped, cammed and also turboed it, and also added i full scorpion exhaust system, vipor indution kit and GSXR throttle bodies. over all the car looks and sounds amzazing and is a little pocket rocket.

I recently bought my first corsa which is an 03 1.4 Sri. Absolutely love the car and in all very happy but noticed after like a week of buying the car the egr valve was faulty, easily remedied by blanking it off with a plate bought on eBay. 5 quid. Still feels slightly laboured when accelerating. Wonder if expecting too much but as I read other reviews on the car people seem to shout out about performance of this car and I'm just not seeing it. Don't get me wrong it's not proper slow but just not really living up to the Sri badge it's been given. Any ideas on anything that will help the car perform to full potential? Ma y thanks

i own a 94 mreg 8v 1.4 corsa sri. I have a cat back with racing exhaust, pipercross intake kit, re-mapped twice, upreated braked.
i've had 125mph, without red-linning it. easily kept within around 3 car lengths to a 1.6sport 16v corsa. so not that bad.
ideal first car to whip around.

i havent had mine long, but as soon as i drove it it went like a dreama,i was driving a m REG corsa sri and i never new how good the new C shape is i love driving it, love the style of it, i drive a 05 plate sri corsa and cant stop looking at it, really is a nice little car, if there was a down side i think it should of got rid of the ecotec under the hood.

Had this car a while now and it doesn't always get driven lightly. I've had to change the water pump and the front discs and a track rod end in the time I've owned it. Nothing else apart from oil and petrol. It's only played up once when the EGR valve got bunged up but that's an easy fix, drive 67 miles in 1 hour. :) Or you could clean the valve with carb cleaner. Have around 115 on the clock, 0-60 dunno but I smoked a 1.8 vectra. Engine still is quiet as the day I got it. Overall I'm very happy with it and I'll be keeping it until it's no longer viable to run it.

Amazing first car!
Yes, it's quite expensive on insurance, but then again im only 17. Runs really nice and everyone who's seen it has said how nice it looks. Speedy and good for fuel.
I'd reccomend this car to anyone!

Ive had my 1.4 SRi twinport since feb now! I had it for my first car and its brilliant! Reasonably quick due to having 90 BHP! Everyone i know says it looks soo much better than their corsa's and i agree with them. The only problem i have is its quite expensive on insurance as im only 17. Other than that i cant fault it! it is reasonably economical as im getting 28 MPG out of it!

M Reg Corsa B 1.4 8v SRi all the way for first car...
Lowered on Spax adjustables.
Cav GSi Wheels sprayed black - colour coordinated to car (good option looks the part)
Uprated front disks and pads - braking is v.good
Wire tucked engine bay
4 Branch manifold / full system 3" pipe - sounds beautiful nice note
Front and rear OMP struts - keeping the car rigid
Battery relocated to boot
Handles a dream and is quite torquey!
Few questions;
Is a fast road cam + ECU re-map worth the ££
Can anyone suggest a good website for a decent yet reasonable cost for a standard looking, carbon bonnet ? (no vents or scoops)

The Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SRi is a brilliant car for younger people to own because its does not use alot of petrol and the parts are cheap.

Nice interior nice looks and all da other little bits you get compared to the sxi version. Just feal like you could get more out of the 1.4 engine. But all in all sound car an everyone who as seen it likes it an says they want one no one as got a bad word towards it.

I bought my first corsa which is an 09 1.4 Sri 5 door. Think it is over rated the car. Feels very laboured when accelerating, and very slow to take off from t/lights. I wonder if expecting too much but as I read other reviews on the car people seem to shout out about performance of this car and I'm just not seeing it. Don't get me wrong it's not proper slow but just not got it, had more power and performance from my 1.2 clio
