At first i thought the game was a phenomenom but as time went you got bored of the same thing.to be honet spec ops wasnt a success but online was sublime. when the stimulus pack came out it was a fresh new platform for the maps but after a while it got dire and boring.exact same with the resurgence pack.
missions:
to be honest guys i dont bother with CoD missions because they are also dire , but this year made me change my mind.it was fast and consistent the full way through the campaign but yet again got repetitive
spec ops:
i think everyone will agree there was so much hipe with SpEc OpS but i only found it entertaining when i was on with my friends.

A follow on from CoD4 (Modern Warfare).

The single player mode is the best i've played, so much more to do and places to visit.

The standard maps are real fun, with some great sniping spots and camper slots.

The perks you can get make the game harder as each person progresses, but you seem to find people you can kill at any level.

The first map pack was a little expensive, but the 2nd came out shortly after (although the PS3 versions where released some months after the XBox versions)
Some of the maps have been moved across from CoD4, but they make MW2 even more enjoyable.

Controlling AC-130's (high altitude bomber) and helicopters make for even better fun (unless your not in them and keep getting blown up or shot from above)

I liked this game so much I've bought 3 PS3's and 3 versions of the game so the whole family can play (an expensive option, but if you play this game you'll understand as everyone wants a go...!)

Split screen mode allows two players on the same machine, but restricks your view (thus the above)
