Ongoing Installation Problems

Appointed YSolar to install panels. Sales rep assured us that there was loads of room on our roof. Turned out not to be the case so we had to split panels between flat roof and pitched roof, though not ideal this was not a huge problem.

The installation work started promptly, but sadly can only be described as shoddy. Cables connecting the panels draped over the roof, unsecured and ridiculously unsightly. The installation team (which we were assured by the sales rep were YSolar staff, but which in my opinion would seem to have been contracted out to people who appear to have little interest in doing a good job) have been back to "sort" the problem, but the result was only marginally better. Their desire seems to be to do the job as fast as possible and go hame, rather than to do the job to an acceptable level of quality.

Days are now turning to weeks, the issues are not sorted, appointments are being made and then missed. The sun is beating down and I am generating no solar energy income. In short, everything I feared.

On the plus side, the service line at YSolar is responsive, and they give the impression that they want to get things resolved, but good intentions have not led to actual resolution of the issues.

I will update this review when problems are sorted to reflect how YSolar responds to my increasing pressure to address the issues.
