There is NO SUCH THING as the PSP scheme!. Usually followed by the words -Government funded etc etc. There is a government scheme called the clean energy cash back scheme commonly known as the Feed in Tarif whereby homeowners get paid for energy they make through government grants however this is very small. Nothing to do with 'PSP' which is plastered all over the internet by sponsored ads. 'PSP' is NOT an organisation and NOT independent body of any sort. Its is NOT a free postcode check to see if panels or free panels are available in your area, It is NOT a comparison site or any other nonsense they imply. So what is it? It is simply a company called Project Solar trying to sell you solar panels by way of a high interest bearing loan whereby you pay almost double the capital cost of the equipment over ten years.

We could not afford solar panels so we decided to join the PSP scheme where we get a solar panel installed with having to pay for it and that the savings and earnings more than covered the pay monthly payments. We had a look at the earnings and savings per year and after 10 years we would continue getting payments for another 10 years that would be all profit. It sounds very clever, but for someone like me who at this point in time cannot afford it, I had no idea that people were installing solar panels as they generate about £15,000+ in income and savings, they pay for themselves and we pocket the extra income generated over 20 years. Project Solar UK carried out our installation and I was very grateful about installing on Sunday. I recommend this 100% for anyone who cannot afford to buy solar panels but can have them installed without paying a penny upfront.
