I got a subscription to Genes Reunited but I soon found that I had made a big mistake.
The tree that you set up is unwieldy to move around in. It is also incredibly difficult to see what relation people are to each other. If you click on someone else the whole tree view changed. So I started using the family tree on Ancestry.
The search is very difficult and unless you know exactly how the name of the person is written on the document then it is almost impossible to find anything. It got to the point that I was searching on other websites then using Genes Reunited to look at the actual document.
When I contacted Genes Reunited about the problems I was having they were very unhelpful and they seemed to have the attitude that they had my money so they didn't care. In the end I decided to write off the cost of the subscription to Genes Reunited and take out one with Ancestry.
