Overall this is a 6 because to get two more points is if it's been heard more, it has not been promoted well. For another two points they would have had to jazz it up more.

Although this album has some great songs, I was must honestly say that the full length album in my opinion does not deserve the 'excellent' markings others have given it.
Yes, 'Hands Open', 'Chasing cars' and 'You're all I have' are good songs but the remainder of the album sounds, although diff ...

What a great track, Snow Patrol with Chasing Cars. It is one of those unchallenging ballads that you can just sing at the top of your lungs and enjoy. Lyrically it is strong and the words just flow making it perfect just to turn up and sing your heart out. The video is not bad either.

Snow Patrol, Eyes Open is a truly brilliant album from start to finish!
I bought this intially after Final Straw and after a couple of listens I'm absolutly hooked. Their music is beautiful and adult, with complex and interesting lyrics, contrasted with a mellow sound.
