After much research and deliberation between iPhone 4s and HTC Sensation XE, I went for the iPhone and I'm not disappointed. It's a fabulous mobile phone. A little heavier than expected but has nice, smooth lines. Switching on and off is easy and fast - unlike my previous phone which took an eon to come on.

The 8 megapixel camera is excellent, takes fabulous pics and I really like the front facing camera function, which means you can take photos of yourself with friends :) The photographs are sharp and clear - has a great video too. The only downside is the photo editing is a bit poor but you can download a photofix app.

I really love the Facetime facility, which enables you to talk face to face with anyone who has an iPhone or iPod for free.

This phone has an excellent selection of apps, many of which are free. I can spend hours on my phone either doing a crossword, reading a newspaper, watching TV or playing games.

The touch screen is incredible, really responsive. I also really like Siri, I think it's a great function - helps with appointments, texts and finding and dialling numbers for me. Not so good on finding businesses though, says it can only locate businesses in the US :(

I've got a two quibbles with the iPhone 4S. One is the battery life - it's very juicy but then I do use it quite a lot. Would be good if it had a longer life, perhaps that's something that Apple can look into for the next version. The second is ringtones, you can't just add a ringtone from your music library like you do on other phones - you have to create one on your PC or iMac. Although I did manage to create ringtones it was a bit of a struggle to begin with.

I've only had the phone for a couple of weeks so I'm still getting to grips with it, but overall I love it!
