The HTC Wildfire S is a smaller than average smartphone that has gained pretty good feedback with average ratings between 3 and 4 stars out of 5. The HTC Wildlife S has the same design as the Desire S and has no physical buttons on the front instead opting for touch screen buttons which TechRadar says are responsive and tactile using vibration so you know you have touched the right button. It's a lighter and smaller phone than the previous model, only weighing in at 105g. The screen might not be as sharp as other smartphones but TechRadar feel it is solid and glassy.
TrustedReviews also like the design of the phone saying that the back is made of a soft plastic making it nice to hold. They call it elegant yet strong. The HTC Wildfire S features a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, a microHDMI slot, headphone jack, microUSB and microSD slot making it on par with other smartphones connectivity wise. They wouldn't recommend the Wildfire S for watching videos due to the small 3.2inch screen and feel the touchscreen typepad a little cramped for users who love to text.
Pocket Lint consider the Wildfire S an affordable smartphone and feel it is slicker than the previous model with a good interface for listening to music. If you are after a phone that offers key functions of social apps and communication then they would recommend the phone but beware that it does not offer all the multimedia features that higher end smartphones have.
