Before purchasing Galaxy S4, I was using Samsung Galaxy S2 for over an year. It was suck a cool looking, stylish, easy to use smartphone. It has loads of loads of apps which are so great & can be found in Google Playstore. S2 is sleek, beautiful, 4" display, dual core, 1GB ram, gorilla glass features, & so on. If you are looking for a budget smartphone which can run all your apps & games, go for Samsung Galaxy S2. Regards, Happy & Satisfied Samsung Galaxy S2 User

ive had it about a year and had to be sent back within first month and second phone seems to have faults too: had to change battery as battery life suddenly just zaps, it would get burning hot to the extent i couldnt even hold it to my ear , it would then just die, this has happened several times , bought new battery and not much better..keeps freezing . it now says i have insufficient storage and cant do any updates..AT ALL !! but i hardly have anything on my phone..i dont play games and dont have hardly any apps, just using it for taking photos and calls etc. .i dont get messages sent often and also dont get very good signal.. people often say they only get half a message through or none at all. It wont last till the afternoon ..battery wise and cant wait till I can upgrade..never again

Have had this phone for a couple of years and absolutely love it. Not only has it been great value (compared to my wife's iphone for instance), it's also helped me hugely when I'm out and about for work (picking up emails, finding suppliers close by, the map service, google search, an incredible apps selection etc). If you haven't got a smartphone - recommend the galaxy range wholeheartedly.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is an amazing phone, i have had mine for just under 2 years and it still impresses me. since the Samsung Galaxy S4 has just come out i will be trading my S2 for the S4 as i am pleased with the phone style and overall performance. It's very fast and user friendly, all the motion gestures are amazing and really useful (especially the flip over mute movement,) there are more motion gestures on the S4 and am looking forward to using these. Overall if i was going to buy a new phone i would go for the Samsung Galaxy S4, i have had no problems with my S2 and am looking forward to moving on.

I love this phone. I was in the market for a new phone and have really been impressed with Samsung's line of products, so I went with this phone. The play store (which is their version of the app store) is awesome! I have also noticed that android users get many more apps for free. The camera on this phone is awesome and has a great quality (as does the video). I also love the screen size, which is huge, it really makes everything easier to see. Overall, I am impressed and have grown to love every aspect of this phone!

Sometimes when downloading an app from play store screen goes blank then mobile restarts up again after closing , This is not a problem for me as when it restarts it goes to where i left off, I also recommend Lookout Security its free from play store , Also on movie tube films play excellent no buffering no cut offs , Sat nav excellent, The only thing i miss is the fingerprint lock which i had on my motorola atrix Thank you for reading jk

I like the nice look, big screen and high resolution, also easy to use and very responsive. I can get many app, watch many movies on it, cool! But the battery is not the best, could be much better if with a long-lasting battery!

I could tell you..That my friend bought this phone coming into excitement and had to pay its price..he used the phone for 2 months and then sold it .. This is just an average looking phone..Pretty decent camera though..But nothing to astonishing..The worst thing about this phone is its touch..very horrible touch,...and the Best thing is the camera..very good one..!! I have never been a Samsung fan and never will..!!

A few days ago Id have enthusiastically recommended the S2 until the phone failed to recognise my SIM. Randomly and out of the blue. According to Google it seems not recognising the SIM is a common problem - the operating system gets corrupted and its the talk of lots of technical forums Despite this Samsung don't have a fix for it - and I'm not technical / foolhardy enough to attempt a fix.

Just received my S2 and like the phone, but, upgraded from HTC WILDFIRE and unfortunately S2 is lacking in no led light flashing to let you know of messages and also only gives one audible warning of messages instead of repeating as the HTC did, therefore 4/10 instead of 5/10. Camera is a big improvement and connecting so social media is super fast. Back cover is a little flimsy but not a big issue as once it's on it's on. Would recommend a cover as screen looks a bit vulnerable with it being totally flat at front. Very light phone and nice size in the hand.

Ive had iphones since the first gen came out. Until i was given a samsung i had got bored of the iphone. To a degree that i was ready to revert to a simple blackberry (Please forgive me). Anyway i was given the S2 from someone who had recently upgraded. It took me a week or two to really get into it but its a great little phone. The battery life is dreadful compared to the iphone but the rest of it is great. Only other issue is it has a really bad keyboard to it. The responsiveness of the iphone one is much better and easy to use.

Fantastic fast and responsive phone. They have really got everything right with this phone. The screen is sensitive and rivals the iphone. Screen colour is sharp and clear. Thin and light weight with good quality camera phone. Quick and responsive GPS, navigating with this phone is great 5*'s!!!

Works very well. Better screen and options than the blackberry I had before. BUT - I had another galaxy s2 that I lost before this one that didn't work as well. I've tried my friends' iphones but they were too small. I love the screen, it could even be bigger. My friends keep breaking their iphones but I've dropped this phone so many times, no screen damage yet.

Great phone that has so many features that I've yet to use them after nearly a year of ownership. Very strong processor with a super-bright screen. I have the T-Mobile version which has the huge screen. The downside is that it drains battery pretty easily (it'd be a good idea to purchase an external battery for whenever this becomes an issue) and it can be hard to carry in your pocket. I would recommend this phone to others, but given that the s3 is out, this phone may soon be considered "too old".

I own both an Iphone 4S and a galaxy S2 and prefer the Iphone by far. The Samsung is not a bad phone, it is in fact very good. the customisation options are fantastic, the openness of the handset returns me to a day whereby I could happily choose a ringtone myself without buying it for a few quid from some capitalist regime somewhere on foreign shores. The problems lie in the fact that the Iphone although fascist in nature is also very easy to use as a phone. The Samsungs texting in particular is awful, it auto adjusts everything to complete nonsense and I spend 5 minutes per text tidying up the mistakes that my Iphone doesn't make. I can reel off a text on my 4S and repeat it on the S2 moments later to an outcome of unintelligible nonsense. I'm is one it loves to mess up with and "I'm running late" always becomes "Important running late" and that's just one example of the rubbish it churns out that the Iphone corrects for me. Calling people is also a chore, the contacts list is fiddly, and when you make a call the screen turns itself off to avoid you pressing a key by mistake (very clever) till the call ends and you remove the phone from your cheek to be greeted by a blank screen and you then have to press an array of buttons to get to the point of cancelling the call that is still in progress. The Applications are far less polished than the Apple offerings as well - just look at the auto trader apps on both devices for a brief example. The android one looks coded by a 12 year old in their bedroom whilst the apple one looks fairly pro. There was a huge applause for the release of the ICS operating system which in my opinion did pretty much nothing special at all to the handset apart from fill it up with a few hundred megabytes of wasted space. It also feels fairly cheap and not very well made though the screen is gorgeous and massive. Overall I do like the phone regardless of the above bashing, I like its open nature and I like the less corpy feel of the device. There are several features though that I really hate - Texting being the major one. If you are of a certain age then the Iphone is more C64 and the S2 is more Speccy 48k. I prefer my 4S but I will persevere with the S2 as I still have great hopes for it.

a great phone overall very fast and easy to use, size isn't as much of a problem as you first think you ajust to using it, only time it comes into play is texting or browsing etc in one hand its quite hard to type fast and fluent.
