Skoda has come a long way from its origins as a bicycle manufacturer in the 1890s via a reputation as a producer of post-war communist workhouse vehicles to todays Skoda as one of the best value providers of stylish family cars. The modern overhaul of Skoda started in 1990 when the company was taken over by Volkswagen. The Skoda Fabia, the popular supermini, became the first car to transform Skodas reputation with the aid of VWs leadership and the Skoda Octavia and Superb similarly won over customers and industry experts who have been amazed by the performance, handling, comfort and value for money of these vehicles. The reputation of Skoda looks set to be enhanced as the company continues to add new models to its line up. Current highlights include the turbo-charged Skoda Octavia diesel.

Two years and 18k on theclock faulty rear wash/wipe and needs new front tyres. Beautifully sure footed on twisting roads . A gem on sheet ice and snow covered roads A solid reliable load lugger with only minor flaws. A surprisingly fun drive. Embarass faster cars on the back roads( at the expense of tyres). 45mpg about town up to 56 on long runs WE LOVE ...

Item: Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDi
4 and a half years old, 200000 Kms on the dial, lots of rough rides, dirt roads, winter & snow. Chip tuned to 136 HP it takes 5,3 l/100km on average. No faults, first brake discs, first shocks, only 2 bulbs gone dead (havin' lights on all the time). Boot big enough for 3 on a long trip with lots of ...

Very happy with the car. Before I owned a 1.9 TDI Fabia estate, which preformed flawlessly through everything I drove her trough. I had doubts roomster will provide the same level of joy, reliability, economy and usefulness. Now the doubts have gone. I'm 100% happy and wouldn't trade it for ...

When confronted with the fact that my Skoda Fabia 1,9 TDI will need a replacement due to a high mileage (200000 KMS in 4 years), I dug myself into catalogues in a search for a similar, yet slightly bigger vehicle. On the trial between C-max, Meriva, Kangoo, Xara picasso and the new Fabia combi, Skoda Roomster 1,9 comfort (3) came out winning. And after 3000 Kms on the dial, I find my decision right in every aspect. Great family-allround-utility vehicle of a very good quality for a decent ...

Item: Skoda Fabia vRS 1.9 TDI PD
I've had my Skoda Fabia vRS for 2 months now and is so much fun! On a long journey, it's comfortable and returns 60+ mpg and that includes the occasional urge to put my foot down!
I have lost count of the number of Porsche, Audi and BMW drivers who look on in amazement when I overtake them. I love it! Without doubt the best car I've ever had and next year I'll be remapping for a further ...
