Have owned my Mossburg 835 for 3 years. First year I shot 3"-31/2" regular
shells for hunting. excellent gun out to 35-40 yrds. you can increase your range by 12-15 yrds more by shooting Nitro ammunition. This shell is a custom made round for any shotgun owned. It is expensive ($151.00) for box of 25. But after doing pattern firing, the round for round bird kill, distance shooting and true kill ratio is well worth it. You wont miss!!!
I also own and hunt w/mossburg 500. 28" barrel with a primos .665 choke. I fire the same Nitro rounds thru it and am absolutley amazed as to the kill power it has in both my turkey guns. the range reaching out to is maximum to any other round. Can be obtained in any size, any shot, any weight, and any gauge. Try it you'll love it.
