“X-Cart Rocks!”

I switched my website to X-Cart which gives me so much more control on the back end than my previous website. I recommend it for an e-commerce shopping cart website. It has so many features I have yet to still learn! I like the fact it comes with Mail Chimp to send out newsletters. I do wish there was a direct link for the USPS without having to their website directly for shipping transactions. Overall, it's great! (read more)

I've found the support services for X-Cart to be exceptional. I was originally worried, knowing that the team is half a world away from me, but it's not been a problem. Their hours are so extensive that there is really only a short portion of the day I'm not able to get answers to my questions - and they assign and answer my questions quickly and thoroughly. We have been working with X-Cart for over 5 years now and run two commercial web sites using their shopping cart software. In that time, we typically have recourse to their tech support on average of two or three times a year and they have always provided top quality service at a very reasonable price. I was moderately confused as to how X-Cart / X-Payment's login service to the backend initially worked. I was contacted immediately and was thoroughly explained to how everything worked in a way that I could really understand. I had to play around with things on my end but I was able to get everything up and running in only a few responses. The staff was very helpful and patient with me. I have been using Xcart for a few months now, and found them very easy to work with, and can buy whatever plugins and extensions we may need safe in the knowledge that if it doesn't quite work as planned they are happy to help or give a refund. You cant get fairer than that. I would highly recommend this software and company to anybody. Compared to other carts it is not the cheapest, but it is reliable and they are always on hand to help. Although I'm not on the paid support system, the response I received was timely and my problem was resolved relatively quickly considering I was on unpaid support. X-cart is a very mature web development platform for e-commerce stores. Its well tested and battle-hardened over more than a decade of development from one of the best software teams on the planet. “Reliable solution for running online stores”

Well, it just does what is needed and doesn't break things. Comes with tax, shipping estimates, integrate with Authorize.net for credit cards. Works with Paypal. Importand moment to pay attention to - hosting where you are going to run it. I advise to go with either of recommended hosting providers listed on their marketplace site. (read more)
