“Boots that drop to bits.”

Written on: 22/06/2012 by Klongdn

I bought a pair of low heel ankle boots for myself and a pair of ankle boots with a higher heel for my 20 year old daughter in October 2011.
Both pairs were falling apart by April. The heel on mine was losing strips of leather and the top started to come away from the sole which revealed a seam of less than 3mm and my daughters went in exactly the same places. In previous years I have bought Clarks boots and they have lasted at least 2 years in the most appalling weather conditions. This winter was one of the driest. Will not be purchasing footwear from them again. My boots didnt have a stamp to say where they were made my daughters were made in Romania. I would rather pay a bit more and have quality boots its a poor do when really cheap £30 footwear lasts twice as long which is the experience of my daughter.
I think an indication of the length of time an item will last would be helpful and also a full description of all materials used.
