    My Sharp FVDB2ES radio was a gift and so I've not been able to return it to store. It looks good and has solid quality but my DAB stopped working fairly soon.

    Just brought this great bit of kit on Ebay, and was blown away by the look of this unit it fits great in my living room and is so discrete in its appearance, but its volume just blows you away. What a great bit of technology. Well recommend the Sharp XL-1000H.

    My Sharp XL-UH240H broke down after 5 months and the cd changer is so dumb you have to turn it on and off 4 times for it to work and the usb is pretty poor as well. Overall, I woulndt recomend it and i have now bought a Philips Serio and its the best 1 ever i have always loved philips.

    Would still have bought it,having now used it / got it.

    Would like to know if extensions can be purchased for the speaker light up wires though....

    The X-bass is very effective - giving pumping bass.
    The sound quality is generally very sharp.
    The volume is big enough - giving it is 150W per channel The volume is big enough, the sound is clear, and the X-bass is strong.
    Overall, it is good at this price range.
