    A very solid reliable instrument, especially on top F and G little effort perfect pitch. Sexy low sounds with smooth throat notes.     Nice feel of power + density and non tubiness.

    The left hand d/a hole is too close to adjacent to e/b cup above for max confort, and it takes some time to get used to .also high f is too low and needs to be aided by adding or changing this fingrring ,closed high f is not too hot either. all in al ...

    A reasonable tonal quality but Selmer now seem to suffer from poor quality assurance.
    I took delivery of a ref. 54 and it was unplayable due to out of adjustment keys and sticking pads. Compared to the Yamaha YTS62 the 54 is difficult to adjust but the biggest problem is staining of the laquer on th ...
