The Leon is Seats popular, sporty hatchback which was originally introduced in 1999 and quickly became a bestseller for Seat in the UK. Spanish company Seat, first established in 1950, but now part of the Volkswagen Group, has developed its reputation slowly on the European market.



In 1999 Seat launched the León and entered the compact vehicle sector, Europe's most competitive market. The Seat León is a milestone in the company's history as the first car with 4-wheel-drive, 6-gear-gearbox and 180 hp.

    Love this car!
    Like the way it handles,never worried on corners.
    Good acceleration, especially in 3rd from 30-70 and is responsive even in 5th gear.
    Like the sport seats and cabin space.Plenty of room for 2 adults in the back.
    Nothing I don't like about it! Nicer on the eye and cheaper than the Golf ...

    I bought this car from the Seat dealership in Letchworth after I had taken it for a test drive and fallen instantly in love with it.

    Now, seven years down the track the car still looks beautiful, the engine is as good as when I bought the car despite having 164,000 miles on the clock.

    Seat Leon 16 further down is me. 2 years on and the car has been good although i dont know what the future holds. Only problem to date was one of the coils going faulty. Otherwise been a dream to drive for the last 2 years. I get over 450 miles out of a full tank by using Shell VPower Unleaded! I us ...

    hi i have a seat leon 1.6s and am having real problems with the dash lights, everytime i turn the ignition off all the dash lights go haywire and there is an alarm sound going off, had an auto electrician out and he couldnt find the problem
