My Family had dined in this bar/restaurant called the Globe based in departures area of Aberdeen Airport. last Monday as we where flying out for our family holiday. Despite the delayed flights, we found ourselves with no were else to go but here (small airport with very little facilities). The unit itself is way better than any other bar/restaurant in the airport. (There is a Wetherspoons, a restaurant called Kitchen and a costa coffee) I usualy have to have breakfast or lunch at Kitchen as I work offshore, although they try its just not good enough especially with a bar/restaurant like The Globe serving the quality that it does. Despite the very high levels of passengers stuck in departures due to the delays, the bar/restaurant staff performed extrememly well, they weren't even flustered by the amount of customers that were in the unit. We ate from here twice that day, Lunch and Dinner and the food was consistently good and looked fresh and appetising. If we ever fly from this airport again we will defo be stopping off here again and look forward to it!!
