Quick - smooth and super gas mileage --- Perfect way to get around town and so much better for the environment ! Goes faster than my hubbies up hill and has been dependable and reliable!

we are a dealer for keeway and i can say there dealer support is nothing more than disgusting this is why we have decided to get rid of them nothing but problems. no answers to back ordered products no answers from there parts staff even after leaving 4 messages when parts are ordered they will lie and say it is in stock when in fact it is and has been on back order for months. i would suggest to stay away from this product unless you want your bike in the shop more than you can ride it .....

I brought my blue keeway hurricane brand new for just over £1000 pounds i hadn't even done 2000 miles and it broke down and nobody would fix as it was chinese. Most of the bike shops/garages said it wasn't even worth getting th parts for it as it might cost more then what the bike is worth. I had it serviced when it was meant to a new exhaust and disristrected and nothing worked. I coild only get 25-30 miles an hour out of it on the flat. It also broke down so mant times.

So far so good, but I only have 65miles on 2010 50cc hurricane. I'm 220 and have no problem going 40 on flat ground; 30ml+ per hr up big hills. It's also great on gas compared to 2004 mountaineer. I save ruffly $13 + ever 60 mls I drive on my hurricane. This little guy keeps up w/ traffic fine and is a blast to ride! Also, I've top off the oil twice and used about 25% of my oil bottle in two weeks. $6 a bottle here in WI. So far so good! This thing will pay for itself. 8-10$ for insurance per month:) I would give the go on buying a hurricane, but mines still new!

i bought my Keeway Hurricane in June. It was more expensive than most of the other mopeds I looked at, but it has some great features, like the storage space in front, and the overall look is better than most of the other ones. I have put over 11000 miles on it and have had no problems other than regular maintenance. I live in Charleston, South Carolina, and most of my friends with other mopeds are having problems starting theirs when it is really cold. But the Hurricane starts right up. I am so happy that I bought it. the dealer here is really great, and I have told all my friends to get a Keeway because of the quality of the moped.

This keeway hurricane scooter is very good, it has all the main points from other mopeds, good on petrol, good in traffic etc. but it's alot cheaper. It comes with a top box, that doesn't fit a helmet, and niether does the underseat storage. There is a storage part at the front, but it has to be open to hold anything. But I do like it, being only 16.

I have had the front brake caliber of my Keeway Hurricane 50 replaced because the scooter would rattle my teeth out when i came to a stop. The oil tank was replaced because it had a hole in it. Now it will not start because of a dead battery from cranking the daylights out of it trying to start it. Only 450 miles on it. JUNK!!!!

I bought this Keeway Hurricane 50 scooter used . I use it for the daily 16 mile round trip to work, all on B roads. Its great. A bit slow with its original restricted exhaust, but reliable in all weathers -10 degrees on one occasion. Very pleased with 80 plus mpg. Good Starter scooter.

The Keeway hurricane is overall a good scooter to buy although similar scooters have a bad reputaion but the keeway defies it all godd scooter to buy but all keep stock parts no modfied parts as I have experianced have gone wrong.

A half decent cheap scooter that gives good mpg. The difficulty accessing fuel cap is frustrating especially when there is a queue in garage. Good first learner legal scooter for price especially if you can grab one second hand.

Would buy a another one. I bought the Keeway Hurricane in May of 08. I love the way it looks and rides great fuel and enough power to keep up with traffic. I would tell other people to try the Hurricane.

I have 2300 miles on my scooter since I bought it in March of this year and have had no problems with it at all have gone on short rides and long rides been as far as 60 miles from home with it and does T top speed 42 miles per hour and for the price it is very good and in New Hampshire you do not need a motorcycle license for it and can go any wheres but the interstates with it.

Good reliable commuter vehicle for someone with a short drive and without anything to prove. Not for someone who wants to look BA or has a chip on their shoulder.

Not many scooters have a two year warranty like the Keeway. In Va no licensing required. In town which I use it for it keeps up with traffic. I am 6' 5" and it was the only one that I tryed that I could fit. Others I would have to ride with legs far apart. More for the buck then many scooters on the market. My Dealer is also the person who does the work on them, Great person and very responsive to any question or concern.

wouldnt recommend the Keeway Hurricane. We've had nothing but probs since getting it. Fuel cable fell off on first day, broke down on way home from college, electrics keep going hence no lights, indicators, and no electric start. Needs servicing too often (they say every three months) what a load of rubish. Dealer really not helpful at all.

Ive got an 08 Hurricane with uprated CDI, exhaust etc and it wont go much more than 48 mph which is enough I think for a 50cc 2 stroke engine. If yours does 60mph then that must be off a cliff........
