“This is the best movie in the history of the world.”

★★★★☆

written by DevinFrancis on 18/12/2020

I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter books, they're all so great and magical. But I didn't think the film series was perfect at all, but they were still great movies. With that, I was extremely excited to see the end of the film franchise and impressed with the trailers.

Just how much last Harry Potter matters to its fans is difficult to express. It feels like leaving a Harry Potter movie.

Harry potter movies especially loved the last movie because I see it has good action and very many more are now older and all that and see her again and again.I really liked the last movie because it has so much content as the other youth. But I have to say I usually say that I liked them all.

It ends well. After eight films in 10 years and a cumulative global box-office take of more than $6.3 billion, the most successful franchise in the history of movies comes to an obligatory -- and quite satisfying -- conclusion in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

“Entertaining movie”

★★★★★

written by Hannah189 on 07/08/2013

It's not a film that will abide in my brain for months however it was generally pleasant to watch and really stimulating stuff Felt as a really exceptional conclusion to the arrangement too -so surrounding an occupation well finished and likely worth watching.i saw it when it first turned out and i was genuinely awed. It's a huge change on a portion of the different films, the performing artists have developed into their parts and it was truly amusing.

“Destroy the Soul, the Man Will Follow”

★★★★★

Harry Potter: We're going to finish this the way we started, together!" Before watching this film, you should at least be certain to have watch the Deathly Hallows Part 1 as this film takes place directy after it. However, a even better idea would be to watch all seven of the preceding movies as they lead up to this epic finale in the best way possible. The film opens up with Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) stealing the elder wand from Dumbledore's (Micheal Gambon) grave in order to grant him unlimited power. It then follow Harry, Ron, and Hermiones' quest to find the final Horcrux (A magically enchanted item that is used to store a piece of ones soul) so they can finally kill Voldemort himself. This all culminates in a epic, final battle between Harry and Voldemort where it is finally decided who is victorious. Gryfindor or Slytherin, good or evil, Harry or Voldemort. The director of the film, David Yates, took quite a few artistic freedoms with the story and any hardened Harry Potter fan will be able to point them out in a heart beat. However, the changes that he makes, end up making the movie a richer experience for those who are watching as they explain better some of the major plot points. The acting in this movie was spectacular. The actors really stepped up their game from some of the previous installments where it felt like they were just coasting along, using the name they've already made for themselves, and the series, in previous installments. That, however, changed in this installment. It felt like all the actors brought their A game for the movie and really made it one of the most memorable and commercially successful movies of the past decade. The special effects of this movie were also quite the sight to behold. From breath taking explosions to panoramic views of the English country side and fighting scenes that looked all to real. The special effects were truly something special and hopefully something we'll see again in a movie sometime soon. This movie was a overall great experience both for hardened fans and casual watchers alike. It sticks true to the story when needed and only made deviations from the story if it will enrich the experience for those watching. It was a great movie that I would love to watch again.

“Great graphics with awesome characters”

★★★★☆

written by jordanfisk43 on 11/12/2012

I love Harry Potter characters and to see them reach some sort of final happy ending was great to see. It's not a film that will dwell in my mind for months but it was most enjoyable to watch and pretty entertaining stuff Felt like a pretty good conclusion to the series too - so all around a job well done and definitely worth watching. I've watched the Harry Potter films and been reasonably impressed - not blown away I must say - but they are good watching. I was a little nervous about the final film as it had a lot to do to satisfy some of the die-hard fans.

I saw it when it first came out and i was seriously impressed. I'ts a big improvement on some of the other movies, the actors have grown into their roles and it was really entertaining. I would happily watch it again, great story, great scenes, good cast! You couldn't ask for anything more really!

“Harry below par-tter”

★★☆☆☆

written by Tom_Lima on 22/07/2012

Disappointing to say the least. Was it worth the wait between parts one and two? No. I struggle to see how there was a post-potter obsession. Im sad to say that I think Rowling's writing started to lose its touch toward the latter of the series, and I believe Hollywood know all directors also took some charm from the book itself, which was a good read. The film itself felt to 'up-itself'. I originally went to a screening with friends, but me and Harj were wrongfully kicked out (And after watching it again the next day with the family) I feel I can say it was a blessing in disguise. I say, I was talking to my cousin about Harry Potter a while ago, and felt I was trying to be a 'hipster' gosh knows what that is, but what I do know is that the money spent on the ticket would have been better re-invested in a take away. Back on topic: The special effects had done well to keep the audiences attention, that was well done by the fat cats in Hollywood. The acting... Alan Rickman did a great job with Snape, I don't know anyone who could act that depressed and lonesome. Old Danny Radcliffe was a bit stale, Im mean good for a mediocre film like 'the woman in black', but for the super mega blockbuster Harry Potter? He didnt sell the part to me. I dont quite know what they tried to do with Dumbledore with this film, they kind of tried to make him look wise, but this was unsettleing to the 'friendlier' Dumbldore seen before. In fact the film has been one of those rare instances, when the blockbuster hasnt lived up to the film. In summary: The only good the film will serve me is any future trivia quiz in 10 years time. (The falling shot of Emma Watson wasn't missed either ;)) Was the film worth a bucket of KFC? Unfortunately not.

“A Great Ending to an Epic Story”

★★★★★

written by Mockingjay on 25/04/2012

The Harry Potter Story has spanned over a decade now and as sad as I am to see it end this movie really did a great job at sending it off. The effects in it were spectacular and the acting was spot on. I love these characters and to see them reach some sort of final happy ending was great to see. I hear J.K. Rowling is writing a new book..let's hope it can be anywhere near as good as Harry Potter.

“good ending to the film franchise”

This is a good movie which brings together the other films. Some of the bits of the book are missing but all in all is a very enjoyable few hours that really inspires me as a potter fan.

“Good Ending to the Series”

★★★★★

written by jurney on 20/12/2011

I wish the series would continue. Loved all the Harry Potter movies and as each season progressed, the movies became darker and more intriguing. I have resorted to reading the novels and find there are even more details which keeps the entertainment going.

“Better than part 1”

★★★★☆

written by TomClithero on 12/12/2011

Part 1 there wasn't enough time for any humour and relief any innocence. Part 2 slows down a bit (though not that much) and gives a few times where you get chance to see the characters not just the plot. That being said the ending was way over the top but hey that's movies.
