Before watching this film, you should at least be certain to have watch the Deathly Hallows Part 1 as this film takes place directy after it. I love Harry Potter characters and to see them reach some sort of final happy ending was great to see. It's not a film that will dwell in my mind for months but it was most enjoyable to watch and pretty entertaining stuff Felt like a pretty good conclusion to the series too - so all around a job well done and definitely worth watching. I saw it when it first came out and i was seriously impressed. I'ts a big improvement on some of the other movies, the actors have grown into their roles and it was really entertaining. Disappointing to say the least. Was it worth the wait between parts one and two? No. I struggle to see how there was a post-potter obsession. The Harry Potter Story has spanned over a decade now and as sad as I am to see it end this movie really did a great job at sending it off. The effects in it were spectacular and the acting was spot on. I love these characters and to see them reach some sort of final happy ending was great to see. I hear J.K. Rowling is writing a new book..let's hope it can be anywhere near as good as Harry Potter. (read more)

This is a good movie which brings together the other films. Some of the bits of the book are missing but all in all is a very enjoyable few hours that really inspires me as a potter fan. (read more)

I've watched the Harry Potter films and been reasonably impressed - not blown away I must say - but they are good watching. I wish the series would continue. Loved all the Harry Potter movies and as each season progressed, the movies became darker and more intriguing. I have resorted to reading the novels and find there are even more details which keeps the entertainment going. (read more)

Part 1 there wasn't enough time for any humour and relief any innocence. Part 2 slows down a bit (though not that much) and gives a few times where you get chance to see the characters not just the plot. That being said the ending was way over the top but hey that's movies. (read more)

In all honesty, my one and only reason for wanting to see the final Harry Potter movie rested on the knowledge that Sirius Black would make an appearance. I had not gone into the cinema expecting too much as I had missed out on The Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows Part 1, so was partially unaware of half the things that were happening. “Amazing; Best one yet!”

In comparison to all the other Harry Potter films, this one is surely the best! Although it isn't 100% true to the book, the storyline itself is so strong it doesn't need to be. There are parts of the film which will make your heartstrings tug and often make you tear, especially *SPOILERS* where Snape dies :( His memories were portrayed in an EXCELLENT way and I love how we are finally able to see the dowdy professor in another light. Finally it's the end of 'Harry Potter'. I haven't read the last book but it doesn't matter for watching the film. Overall, the mood of the film is a bit more serious than before. but It's a good thing to concentrate on that. The ending is a little bit simpler than I expected but not so bad. After reading all of the Harry Potter books i found that the finale was slightly disappointing. There did not seem to be much action consdering the way in which the books departed this tale. I am in two minds wether to recommend this or not. It all seemed slightly rushed! (read more)

I do agree, what disappointed me more was the 3D Version, it was nothing as i had expected it. I have seen better 3D movies than this.
They shouldn't have mad a 3D Version - it so very disappointing wasting my money and wasting my eyes.

Hi before writing an review on this movie. let me tell you if you don`t watch this movie you will really loose some thing. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2 is really mind blowing. the movie dose not have too much action and magic but still this movie is really very good. i like the begging it was good and very good starting. but the center part is little bit long. their can be do some editing on it. i never know that prof. snape love Potter`s mother if i don`t watch this movie.... Ten years comes to a close in grand fashion. Two hours of stand up and cheer, break out the kleenex cries, and closure on a series of movies that captured a generation or six :) Easily the most action packed of the movies and in reality its just the final act of a very long movie. For years the Harry Potter series has continued and fans have anticipated the ending. Now it's here and I can honestly say that I, and hopefully many others, was impressed with the finale. This movie explained a lot of things to viewers that those who didn't read the books were wondering. This is the Best Harry potter film by far, one of my favourite films of 2011. I really hope someone makes more of these gripping films.

Yes the film was good but there were so many unanswered questions. Like what happened to Hagrid for one. A very poor ending in book and film. Its as thought Rowling just ran out of ideas.
