I'm really not happy with this service. I asked for a guitar teacher. The person they provided could barely play guitar, didn't read normal music and was dressed so inappropriately for my daughter I asked him to leave immediately. Not good...

Sounds pretty weird especially with my experience with their services over the past 1.5 years. I do know they work with about 250 teachers so there bound to be some rotten apples...

What I can say is that they are very serious about their reputation and get teachers off their books for the slightest drop of commitment they know of.

I can also confirm they call me each and every month, making sure I am happy with my teacher, that my son's enjoys his lessons and make good progress. Actually when he got to Grade 2 with distinction Elliot and LMC was the first place I notified they were elated!

I have brought that matter to the LMC team to see if it was possible that they had any such guitar teacher like the one described above.
You may probably probably think it is unreal but they emailed me the CV's of all of their 35 guitar teachers (with the teachers' consent naturally) - ALL of them are graduates of the Royal Academy, Royal College of music, Guildhall school of music and drama, Trinity and other unbelievable names. My goodness- how I want to begin guitar lessons with them now! (always fancied the Blues...)

And for the record, they mentioned some bullying from a couple of ex tutors to assign them more students or they would leave them with some consequences... I guess that's that.

To my despair LMC do not find the above practice worthy of issuing a clarifying statement so this is my little effort to do it on their behalf.
