Waste of time!

Opened this account a few years ago and as intrest rates go it was good. However the interest I received over the years was not worth the stress and time trying to transfer the money out of this account. We are desperately trying to put a deposit on a house, the solicitors sent us their details so I put them as my nominated account after speaking to colleagues in store and online. This took 5 business days to set up (that alone was a ridiculous amount of time when most accounts do this instantly). After the 5 business days we went to transfer it, still didn't work. Rang up to be told 1) apple laptops don't allow you to transfer money and 2) I couldn't transfer to their account as if wasn't in my name. I have now changed the nominated account and are hoping the solicitors will accept another account but this will take another 5 business days. Only get this account if your money is not going to be used only to gain interest. When you want to transfer the money, move it to a different account in your name and allow plenty of time. I hope this advice helps so other people are not stuck in this same awful position.
