This satnav is total rubbish, but the most disappointing thing about this sad bit of kit is the 'customer care'....it is terrible. If you have a problem and yo email them, ok you will get a ticket number with a statement that they will get back to you...but that is about as far as it gets. You hear nothing more from them. If you want a satnav, then don't whatever you do, buy a Navman Mio...you are totally wasting your money! You have been warned! (read more)

The Mio 575 as a unit is pretty average, with some good potential, but if you own a Mac and not a PC you will be in for a very bad deal. Mitac do not support the Mac platform, and from the day I bought my 575 unit the maps were out of date. This may seem a small problem - just update them - and the unit came with guarantee that if the maps it contained were out of date I could update them free of charge.
