I have used them before but this time no sat nav and I cannot contact them so looks like I have lost my money.I would avoid them if you can.

I can't believe all the positive reviews here! They happily took £30 from me with absolutely no intention of ever supplying the sat nav unit. I booked the unit in mid September for my elderly parents who were off on their first ever long haul holiday and already nervous about the driving so I though no problem! I'll rent them a sat nav from here, lots cheaper than the car hire companies. What a mistake. After five emails and voice mails we still had absolutely no contact from them whatsoever. So long and short of it, now November, had to buy the sat nav maps for my own tom tom at the last minute at a cost of £65. I only managed to get a refund from mysatnavhire after I escalated it to PayPal. Still no apology. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

The TOM TOM Plus I hired was a terrific boon to our Orlando holiday. Because of new developments, especially around Disney Springs (still called Downtown Disney on the Sat Nav) there were one or two areas where we needed to follow the signs instead of the Sat Nav and we finished up at the staff entrance of Animal Kingdom along with several other visitors.So the Sat Nav could do with an update. Paying the little extra for lane directions was well worth while. Being directed to the right lane well in advance makes driving on US freeways so much easier as long as you listen carefully, as sometimes the instruction to keep right comes before the previous junction and "keep left" often actually means" keep straight on" or don't fork right. The equipment arrived well in time to prepare and familiarise with the operation before departure. Also a lot cheaper than hiring from the car hire company in the US.

USED SATNAV FOR FIRST TIME FOR FLORIDA TRIP, ARRIVED ON TIME AND WORKED PERFECTLY, MUCH CHEAPER THAN HIRING FROM CAR HIRE COMPANY, WITH CLEAR RETURN INSTRUCTIONS WIOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND WILL DEFINITALY USE AGAIN.

I have used Sat Nav Hire twice now and am just about to make a third booking. What a great idea and saves you loads of money rather than opt for sat nav with your car hire. They do exactly as described on the website; sat nav is posted to you two days before travel and you get sent all you need to make posting back as easy as possible. I have recommended this to all my friends and we all agree it's a big money saver. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I currently have an old Garmin which works fine so initially considered buying an newer secondhand unit with USA maps installed. Looking at the prices I'm so glad I rented instead! I ordered the 18 day hire Garmin satnav from Ebay for our California, Utah, Nevada and Arizona trip for £21.99. It arrived a day before we left for our flight so I did ring the day before that as I was worried it wouldn't arrive in time. It was a pretty new unit and had a wide screen display & lane assist, which helped at busy junctions. I programmed all our hotels and several places we were due to visit before we left home and it worked perfectly all the time and was invaluable. Service and communications was good and I'll certainly use them again as it is much more cost effective compared to buying one. We had one minor hitch with the directions* so the Garmin was pretty accurate and was easy to use. * I did know the route from research which helped a lot and made me less reliant on the SatNav when out of the major cities. The return was so easy as it was sent with everything you needed, and even included 3 USA adapter plugs which came in handy. The Sat Nav was very well packaged for posting to me and for return.

This process was seamless. We used the Sat Nav for 3 weeks in Canada and we would have been lost without it. We would not hesitate to hire from these guys again, a most reliable unit, it gave us peace of mind throughout. If you're thinking of hiring one, use these guys, I highly recommend them.

Received sat nav 2 days before we flew to america so i had time to enter some zip codes. the sat was perfect and the service was great would recommend mysatnavhire.

We rented this sat nav for our 2 week stay in US and Canada. It was just fine and worked well. The service from MySatNavHire was spot on in all respects. Would most certainly do it again without hesitation.

We went on holiday to Orlando. Alamo wanted $300 to rent a sat nav. To buy one would be cheaper,but still expensive for a one time use. This service was a blessing. £21.99 for three weeks. I upgraded to the XXL version, this came with lane assist which was an absolute lifesaver and made it so much easier to navigate. The sat nav arrived in plenty of time. Well packaged and included a pre labelled return bag. Quick and easy. Perfect for my needs. Would and have already recommended to a friend, who has also placed an order. Many thanks.

Hired a sat nav from this company for our six week tour of America and Canada. Two weeks were advertised on ebay but I emailed them and a six week rental was no problem. It arrived two days before we went so could input the first few addresses. There were no problems in using it and the box and envelope supplied made it easy to post back when we got home. Would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending to anyone else. Much cheaper than hiring one from a car rental firm.

Hired a USA sat nav for 14 day hire. Arrived in plenty of time 2 days before departure. Worked perfectly with no problems they even sent us 3 travel power adopters to use which was very handy. Easy to send back in the box with addressed bag supplied. Would not hesitate to recommend and use again.
