Item: Sanyo SC-780
This Sanyo SC-780 is not one of my better purchases! Lack of suction has always been a problem, the bagless filter is next to useless unless washed after every few vacuumings to remove clogging dust and the sealing of the filter and the dust collection box/ body of the vacuum cleaner proved to be less than perfect.
It being long out of warranty, today I stripped the motor down to try and find any faults as the suction has gotten even worse than usual and the motor overheats after 2 or 3 ...

Item: Sanyo SC-780
Not a good buy - 2 years & 5 months use & it has burnt out, just past the warranty period - are they designed to do that ?
Compare this to our cheap Hitachi that lasted 15 years & had excellent suction ! So good that Hitachi stopped making it - obviously lasted too long.
Personally I wouldn't recommend buying this ...

Item: Sanyo SC-X90
Owned Sanyo Vacuum Cleaner for less than 12 months and was initially pleased with it.
Lost Filter Assembly with dust in error, it is very expensive to replace these parts.
There was an electrical burning smell, probably the motor burning out, which meant we had to return the machine within the 12 month warranty ...
