    Two months on and 5 engineer vists and 3 repairs later Samsung have agreed to replace my Fridge Freezer with a new one. The present one has the compressor running constantly until it needs to defrost, then all goes quiet, followed by a loud bang as the ice drops off inside and then the compressor starts up again. The Samsung Customer Service staff are strict about proceedure being followed, totally un-bending. My retailer offered to exchange the FF for another but Samsung said I needed three ...

    Generally very pleased with this unit, my wife has always drunk plenty of water but I do not like the taste of tap water and the hassle of filtered water in a jug from the fridge has always been the reason why. That has all changed now, I seem to be drinking more than her since the RSA1W arrived.     After just 3 years the fridge section defroster died and the light will not turn off. Very disappointed. A Transglobal service tech came the next day for $85 to tell me it would cost about $450 to repair and I'd have to wait over a week for the next appointment. He priced the defroster and evaporator as separate components for $150 each, but can be found (I called Sears) as ONE UNIT for $51. ...

    The Samsung Built In Speed Oven FQ159ST is Good looking and easy to clean The oven function works very well. Microwave function (most likely due to not having a turntable) is not as good as my 10 year old Sharp convection microwave, but works. Set menu options (baked potatoes, roasts, etc.) work well but require weighing of food which was not required with my Sharp. Overall a good appliance and easy to use once you figure it out.
