“Expensive Repairs”

Between 50-60,000 miles my regularly dealer serviced, carefully driven 2012 Mazda CX5 has had major repairs twice - the first for a hydraulic problem which Mazda agreed to repair under warranty and the second was a complete failure of the oil system. This require 10 days at the garage and ultimately a £2,000 bill. Mazda deemed the latter problem to be a "normal" expense that "owners should expect". “Poor reliability”

I currently do 1000 miles per week and now have a 5 day old car that has been back at the dealer twice with faults. 1) Sat Nav has intermittent fault and seemingly Mazda do not have a resolution yet. System does not always load. 2) Engine warning light came on after 893 miles. 3) Fuel consumption is very poor, 38 mpg with motorway driving at 70 mph. The car is comfortable on long journeys and is very easy to drive, problem is I keep getting lost thanks to a very poor Sat Nav system… Read Full Review
