I approached Rocketfish over 6 months ago after trying a few previous SEO companies without too much success. Rocketfish got most of my keywords on the first page but do advise the process usually takes more time till I can see the visitors improving which is the overall aim. They don't use too much complicated jargon and I receive regular calls and updates through their Project Tracking system which I can easily use to check any progress etc. (read more)

I was first skeptical when they quoted me a price for my work. I somehow did not believe that I would get a good service. I expected average, for the price I was quoted. It hasn’t always been plain sailing working with Rocketfish particularly in the first few months. A lot of this was probably due to my lack of understanding but the team there were quick to react to my concerns and the results are now outstanding. after 6 months of doing no work, constantly been told some work was been done when nothing was, been passed from pillar to post , every other week been told the person you were dealing with has now left the company, i have stopped paying to be told that we will not give you your website back until you pay the full contract up. i am going to have no option but to take them to court. this company should be avoided at all cost (read more)

We have found working with Rocketfish to be a little frustrating at times, our web site was a little late being built and it took a little longer than we thought to get positions on the first page of Google but overall the experience has been pretty good. My account manager at Rocketfish contacted me and said that someone was posting negative stuff about the company and would I write about our experience. Don’t know much about the Directors but the team there have been great, good service, good results and regular contact. This other guy must have just been unlucky? Please, don't go anywhere near this company. I am one of the fortunate ones who hadn't paid them much before realising that they would fail spectacularly to do anything in the contract. Most of the money they did take was by direct debit and since they took this persistently early in breach of the DD guarantee I was able to claim it back. I wound up taking them to Court for breach of contract and they counterclaimed. In the end we settled out of Court in the interests of not wasting any... (read more)

“Rocketfish - wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy”

After our experiences with Rocketfish I would advise anyone considering placing business with them to not. They were unresponsive and didn't deliver. It seemed that having got my signature on the contract they did not care what level of service they provided, let alone results. I am very sceptical of anyone who gives Rocketfish 5 stars as I find it highly unbelievable that anyone would conceive that they are doing a good job. Please place your money with someone else. The Rocketfish website says ‘Service you will remember at moderate rates.’ Unfortunately this only a half-truth. The service we will remember as being slow to respond and sometimes obnoxious and obtuse, moreover incompetent. The price, on the other hand, is wholly unreasonable. Charging £250+ monthly for no return is money down the drain by anyone’s standards. It is companies like Rocketfish which give SEO companies a bad reputation. I would suggest if anyone who has any complaints about this company to register them with trading standards Manchester office. Hopefully this will then ensure there is an investigation into this company and avoid any more people have the nightmare of dealing with them.

You certainly will remember the service! You will remember all the unfulfilled promises, the failure to answer emails and phone calls.
The favourite one suffered by me and others is a promise to build microsites and then fail to do so. The next step is to tell you that actually microsites no longer work so try Facebook and Twitter instead to market your brand. What a brilliant idea. Who'd have thought of that. Geniuses. Not.

Very difficult to establish what work has been done, but I did, which is why I won a coyrt case against Rocketfish. CCJ available on request. I won, because I am not SEO illiterate, and the judge could see that they had no genuine claim.
