This is quite simply the worst SEO experience we could have stumbled upon.
We shelled out somewhere iro £1200 to see no change in our page rank, and a shockingly terrible social media effort. We were guaranteed monthly reports - which consisted of no more than a paragraph of blank tables. When pushed for more, they tried to arrange phone consultations rather than send us actual information.
Social media was diabolical. Updates on twitter and facebook consisted of bland and uninformative sentences with no punctuation or content. When pushed for better quality, a single tweet or post was potentially interesting, before reverting to type. No use of our own promotional materials such as photos etc. We ended up deleting most as we looked terrible.
Do not be fooled by the first found sales pitch.
The only reason we didn't see through it was due to our inexperience. Wouldn't touch with a bargepole. Absolute waste of money.
To be fair, First Found is a good name, because if anyone tried to look any further than them, they would find a better company.

Hi,

Firstly I would like to say how sorry I am to hear that you are not happy with the service that has been provided to you by FirstFound. I have reviewed your account and would just like to make a couple of comments in response to the points you have raised.

Regarding the performance of your website from an SEO point of view there has been continued improvement in your rankings since you signed up with a number of your key search phrases now on the first page of Google. The reporting is based on a single key phrase but as explained we do work on a number of other search phrases and we have provided you with a list of these along with these rankings. Your consultant explained the service to you on numerous occasions as well as sending over information detailing the work that had been done on your account as requested by you.

The social media posts were tailored to your business and it was explained that in order to provide more variety we would not just post content from your own blog but would also use other resources. We did offer on several occasions for you to speak with our social media manager but you chose not to do this. A lot of the communication on the account was conducted by email at your request and we explained on several occasions that it would be best to address any issues over the phone so that these could be clearly communicated.

Occasionally we do get customers who are not happy and feel their expectations have not been met but equally we have thousands of customers who are extremely happy with the service and results we have provided for them over the years. We have been in business for over 16 years and have a lot of great and authentic reviews from our customers and we are always looking at ways that we can further improve the services we provide our customers.
