Although there are a couple of loose screws on the pre fab parts, they do not seem to affect the performance, I use the rower every and have tried out a few other makes in showrooms. The V fit build quality is at lease as good, though I assembled it myself. Where as a shop assistant may have assembled the ones in the shops. This Rower was up to a quarter of the price of other make and a sixth of some. It does what I want of it. Also no main feed is required for the display. although the display may not be quite as advanced as other makes it is enough for me. I summary sturdy, smooth, and pretty well built. I would say there is no need to pay £1000 as this does the job
