    The main weakness of this Rover 214 is that the headgasket goes very easily n quickly, u have to make sure the cars had it changed befor you buy it if the mileage is over 70000 miles which most of these type of cars have already covered.     dont ever let the rover badge put you off.
    my little rover 214 is a lovely drive and all of my mates love it aswell because of its comfort,
    the power is there if needed also for a little 1.4 engine.
    i am an 18 year old lad and the insurance is not to dear at all.

    I've had two rover 200s one a 1.4 the other a 1.6 honda engine. The 1.4 I paid £150 for and it lasted me four years. The 1.,6 died prematurely after a severe disagreement with a deer. For the money, no car is better. They are cheap to buy and run and have a cracking engine and good equipm ...

    Bought a 214sei on an N reg (1996) its simply the best car I've ever had. nippy, smooth to drive & really economical. The half leather interior is comfy & smart to look at. If your thinking of buying one, think no more & just go out & buy one. You won't regret it.
