Sunrise red 1985 Miyata, model Seven Ten, 23.5 pound beauty. My wife bought this for me for my 30th birthday. I still love cranking both. I have replaced the painful seat, updated the handle bars with a more comfortable flatter curved design. Obviously many tires later. All else original equipment including the Mrs'. I would love to change the shifters from the tube to handle bars but can't make myself do it after all this time. A great made Japanese bike. It has stood up to the test of time. I hope I do also if my wife reads this.

I own a Miyata Seven Ten, 10 speed, 27 x 1 1/4" tires, with Caliper Brakes, and it is the lightest road bke i have found on a budget. They don't sell them in America anymore, but you caould find them on garage sales if you look. If you are the kind that are looking for a commuting bike or something that you can just go for a ride on i would recommend this bike for you. Shifters are located on the bottom tube, and a leather seat (not sure if it's real leather or not). Very easy to pedal. I had run something over and poped one of my tubes, and i didn't have a replacement, i through it over my shoulder and walk to the nearest bike shop, and most bikes i can't just through over my shoulder.
