I rode at Old Mill for two years and I did learn a lot. I loved the horses and they all seemed very well looked after, I enjoyed being able to tack up and groom the ponies myself which wasn't the case where I used to ride, Wheal Buller where they didn't let you do anything except ride the horses. I enjoyed the variety of our lessons. I did however find I was put I a lesson with children a lot younger than me and we progressed very slowly. Also the instructors were very critical of what I was doing without much encouragement, I felt quite uncomfortable with the other . Lessons where quite expensive. Before I went there I would have liked to have known a bit more about it but they have no website or leaflet or anything. I think old mill is good but would probably recommend somewhere different to a friend because I know they could get more enjoyment out of somewhere else.
