Worst experience EVER

I recently used Lovespace to store and move 11 items from Exeter to London.

After only a few days of having my items collected, I received a phone call from a stranger who said that one of my boxes had been mistakenly delivered to her. She managed to get my name and phone number from the label I had stuck on the top of my box. Lovespace assured me that they were on top of it and that my item would be returned to their warehouse.

Unfortunately, a few weeks later, when I requested that my items be returned to me, the box that was initially delivered to the wrong place was not returned to me along with my other items.

After one week of searching, Lovespace informed me that they would only be able to provide me with the £100 insurance. I was very unhappy with this as I was not satisfied with the way they dealt with the situation.

I was told that the label on my box was missing and that the deliverymen had to go through the contents of my box to search for a hint as to where the item would be delivered to. They found my bank statements and sent it to the address on the bank statement. However, the bank statement was presumably an old one as I had moved out of that house since June 2013.

I then personally called the manager of the house, but was told that the people who were living at the house at the time had moved out about 5-6 weeks ago.

My box has been officially declared as missing.

Further, the other items (plastic boxes) that were successfully returned me were mostly damaged. One was particularly bad and I had to throw it away. I sent an email complaining to Lovespace about the damaged boxes but was ignored. I am still in the middle of dealing with the missing box as I would like Lovespace to be more responsible.

I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING THEIR SERVICE.

Look for other options if you need a moving or storage company.
