Stay well clear

I can only echo the previous posts, stay well clear. The salesman who came to do the quote, told me that we were insured through them, our furniture would be I store for a month, the bought to our new house 500 miles away. We accepted the quite, the house packed into containers, and off we went. 3 weeks later I received an invoice for storage for 3 months, I queried it, and was told to pay it and then I would get a refund. I continued to query it, and eventually was yoked to ignore it, I then proceeded to check the delivery day for my furniture. I was then sent another invoice for double what I had paid in the first place for the whole thing. I queried that, then I was told it was a mistake. The office manager, Pat Carter is rude, aggressive and dismissive! The furniture arrived a day late, apparently the van broke down, however the lads confirmed it, although I could have been told, but wasn't. It didn't arrive in the containers in which it had been packed, apparently they "reserve the right to decant" if necessary! Needless to say it has been damaged, beds have holes, the are dirty, and chairs have been badly damaged. When trying to claim from them I have been told that I only have limited liability with them. And to make matters worse, an item is missing, it doesn't appear on their inventory, so what chance has anyone got, I can only hope that BAR can help! Don't give up fighting them, report them! They deserve to go out of business, if not KEEP AWAY FROM THEM !
