I have had an extremely negative experience with ACORN Movers, a stunning example of mismanagement and absolutely unhelpful.
I ordered door to door furniture delivery from Dubai to Winchester, UK. They asked to pay the order in advance and although in Dubai everything went smoothly, the UK head office seems lost all interested in the business after they received the money: they did not notify me on consignment arrival to the port, they did not contact me when the furniture was delivered to their warehouse after customs clearance, they did not call me at all. I called them instead when started feeling suspicious. As a result delivery from London to Winchester is taking 21 day after customs and 30 days after arrival to UK port. Since all money paid I even do not have an option to hire local removal company to get my furniture, which they promise to bring from London within 3 to 4 days. Feel the difference, as they say it.
