I've always fancied one of these ever since I played Colin Mcrae Rally many years ago. As soon as I went to view it I knew I was right to buy. The sound of the engine was lovely. Then I put my foot down and wow, great fun. For 2 weeks I sped around the country lanes for 2 hours a day. It was so much better than my previous car, a decent BMW coupe. In terms of looks it is awful. The interior was really bad too. But everything worked well so it didn't bother me. This is a cheap performance car, not for posing. I found that when driving at normal speeds it was just as economical as my old 1.8 BMW. At fast speeds of course it will drink petrol but it is worth it to go as fast as any Ferrari or other top of the range car you encounter. The only thing to think about is that people will sometimes do anything to steal one of these. So if you live in a bad area think twice unless you have a garage. Someone I know was beaten up pretty badly when a gang wanted to steal his. You will need to be creative to get a decent insurance deal too.
