Have had the Smeg fridge about 4 years and just about every shelf is now broken. Ice box doesn't close, all 4/5 door shelves have either completely snapped or are being held together with tape. The only shelves in the main part are the glass bottom and the wire wine rack, all the other shelves had to be taken out when the plastic sides broke. Ice box catch has also gone. salad box was the first thing to break.

Having just looked at the price of spare parts I'd be better off buying a new fridge!

Come on SMEG, what's the point of looking cool if you're held together with cheap plastic!!!
