The Hotpoint HL2321 was fitted into our kitchen as part of a new house. In trying to determine whether there was a fault with the appliance or a fault with its fitting, hotpoint would only send an engineer out for a call out fee of £100 (alternatively there was an extended warranty scheme which lasted for about 13 months at a price in excess of £150). It was near impossible to speak to someone for advice on the product. I would not buy a hotpoint machine through choice based on this level of customer service and poor quality product.
