Bad customer service - Office Angels

Saw a role on a website managed by Office Angels.
I had initially applied but didn't hear back - they do say in their automated message that if you have not been contacted in 5 days, then you are not short-listed.
I was not short-listed. Fair enough.
However, the same job was advertised a week later, again managed by Office Angels with a later closing date.
I decided to call the local office that was managing this vacancy. I re-read the job spec and had originally applied as I could tick everything on the job requirements and skills.
I am not a serial job seeker - I am selective about the posts I aim for and would only apply for what I am a good fit for; especially with over 20 years' industry experience.
It is possible the recruiter may not feel like I was a good fit for various reasons.

However, the response was "Do you know we have over 400 applications per vacancy?”.
I was not even given the opportunity to leave my name in case they had so many CVs for a specific role that they may have missed something. Actually, quite glad I didn’t leave my name as was dealt with rather unprofessionally.

Having experience of other recruitment agencies and would say, so far, my first tentative contact with Office Angels has been far from positive.

I don't review very often but if anyone else has the same experience, please share. I was left feeling worthless but luckily that was fleeting.

Office Angels, if you are reading this, perhaps you should be looking at your communication skills with potential candidates.
