I contacted Hays regarding a role and spoke to a consultant who after reading my CV said I was the ‘perfect candidate’ for this role. I was then told to come in to the office and sign up on their register. I met with the consultant who said she would put my CV forward the next day, as they were interviewing at the end of the week. I didn't hear anything from Hays for a week, so I decided to contact them myself and I was told that they hadn't heard anything and that they would be in touch when they did. Weeks went on and still nothing, to make it worse the job is still advertised on their website. I am starting to think that this role doesn’t even exist it’s just a ploy to get people to sign up with them.
They are an utterly useless and incompetent agency. I wouldn’t apply for a role advertised by Hays again.
