I applied via 'Monster' for a vacancy in Wigan. I heard nothing so a couple of weeks later I rang. I was told that they were very busy and couldn't respond to everyone who applied. Fair enough I thought. I was advised to send my CV directly to one of the consultants and she would get back to me. After a week I had received no response, no acknowledgement, nothing. I sent a polite email querying if my CV had been received and asking if they needed any further information. Again, no response. I rang last week to see if the consultant was in the office and was informed that she was 'very busy' and could I ring back.

Basically I don't rate Hays at all. I don't think they are very professional. I would never apply or respond to a Hays job vacancy again.
