I have been a registered user of Hays for over 10 years in the ACT. In 2013 I got back in touch with Hays to seek temporary/contract or full time work in administration in government or private industry. I thought 16 years administrative experience as an EA/Senior Administrator would be something they could work with. I was bitterly disappointed. I have sent applications to one consultant which has been ignored. I have been denied the opportunity to come and meet with a consultant face to face to discuss options. I have been made to feel that my experience accounts for nothing and told that my skills "are not current enough" as an EA despite working for senior level executives in Federal PS and local PS. I feel discriminated against for having the audacity to have a child that requires my time. If anyone is looking for work seriously and wants to be treated with respect refer to Wizard. They will listen to your needs, assist you with your applications, provide access to training and above all else - will not ignore you and treat you with disrespect. I think Hays leaves a lot to be desired and certainly not an agency I will be recommending to anyone in the future. I have been out of work for 10 months seeking opportunities and their best advice? Apply directly for roles.

I would agree most heartedly, Hays are all about bums on seats, they have no ideas about the candidate requirements and aspirations. They are very rude and experts at just ignoring you. Would I use the NO

Hays are appalling. I thought their Adelaide office was bad but reading some of the rest of these comments, well its just a rotten incompetent organisation
