Just a warning to others, so you are not caught out like we have been. We placed a job ad and as usual were bombarded with calls from recruitment agencies including Brand Recruitment. After numerous calls from Brand Recruitment and limited success in our first placement the guy from Brand Recruitment persuaded me to look at his CV's - at this point without me knowing I had agreed to pay £4000 + VAT if I ever employ any of the candidates that he sent over, by whatever means!! Having experienced Brand Recruitment as both a candidate and a hiring manager, I have nothing but praise for the breath of fresh air they bring to the recruitment arena. In the past, I have been registered with agencies who have tried to 'sell' me roles I am not interested in, and even send me for interviews for roles that I have not been suitable for seemingly just to maintain the masquerade that they are 'working' for the hiring company. I have been attempting to procure employment through the Cambridge office of Brand Recruitment for some time now. I have been registered with them for years, and have made an effort to visit them over the 90 mile, costly round-trip at least three times. As a marketing professional, I take my trade very seriously - and my reputation.
