I've had the Toshiba 46WM48 TV just a little over 4 years and I put my 3rd bulb in it now. My 1st lasted me roughly 3 years to the day that I bought the TV and the other just under a year and boy did this one go bang.

I decided to get in touch with Toshiba direct and explained that I wasn't happy as my first bulb lasted 3 years and the second only 1 year, yet my viewing habbits hadn't changed really.

After a bit of chit-chat Toshiba decided to send me out a replacement bulb Free of Charge. I suppose thats why I like Toshiba's.

I'm updating my previous review, I have had this tv now over 3 years, I've only ever replaced the lamp once, and as they say, everytime you put a new lamp in its like having a brand new tv every time, thats why I cannot fault this tv, couple it up with HD, get yourself a good quality home cinema system and you will have your own mini-ish cinema right there in your living room, get me the popcorn.

A fabulous television set, with pictures are exceptional, colours that are crisp and bright and DVD's wow crystal clear pictures.
The Toshiba 46WM48 comes with its own stand, which is fantastic, its HDTV Ready wow how great it is, crisp pictures being an understatement give me more Hi Def TV.
You can link this TV to your PC and the TV is really capable and believe me it will truly blow you away. You can buy this TV from most reputable high street shops like Curry but be prepared to spend some money though I myself got it from a local supplier and paid £1595, this is the way to go for the true home cinema screen this is a great.

I haven't yet seen any HD content on this tv so I can only rate on what I've viewed through the normal DVD setup / cable.
I bought mine nearly a year ago for £1250 online from Robertsons, not to sure if its still obtainable at this price though, seems like its gone up in price - strange.
Anyway if you're looking for a TV with a big wide clear picture and sound to match, you'll not find better at this price but make sure you've got the room, its big.

The Toshiba 46WM48 comes with its own stand, which is fantastic, its HDTV Ready, and I can't wait for them to switch off analogue and give us Hi Def TV bring it on. You can link this TV to your PC and you can download Hi Def trailers then you can see what this TV is really capable of, and believe me it will blow you away. You can buy this TV from high street shops like Comet but you will be looking to spend £2000, I myself got it off the internet and paid £1500, with the money I saved I bought a Denon DHT 500 home cinema Wow, but that's a different review. For the true home cinema screen his is a great one.
