Having purchased this at Gloucester Farm Services on the M5 today we had high expectations. How disappointed were we! What fish there was was grey, hard and tasteless. The Charlie Bingham version is so much better and cheaper as is the current Sainsbury offering. We are curious how Pegoty Hedge can up with the adjective "Fabulous" to describe it. It is truly "Awful" or indeed "dreadful". We will never buy this again and urge you not to either.

I don’t normally buy ready meals but was tempted to try this as part of an Abel and Cole dine in offer. I was disappointed to find that it only served one person but with plenty of lovely veg it was actually sufficient for two. It was delicious and I would certainly buy it again, if only I could find it.

I wanted a quick meal and chose this product from Booths supermarket.I must say I was more than happy.I have bought similar products before and had to look for the salmon but this one had plenty of it and tasted lovely.I liked the idea of a bit of celery in it too and would recommend this product.Being a new customer I cannot comment on some of the other quite negative reviews but will certainly purchase this product again when I need a quick supper.

Not impressed at all by this product. The overall flavour was pleasant but it didn't taste that authentically Greek - I didn't get even a hint of nutmeg in the bechamel sauce. It was very wet and sloppy and seemed to be more bechamel sauce than anything else (there were three slices of aubergine). The meat tasted nice but again it was in too much sauce, or a sauce that wasn't properly cooked through. For a good moussaka the bechamel should set and in this moussaka it was very runny. The overall effect was that it ended up like a milky soup with a few pieces of minced lamb floating in it. I prefer a mousakka with potatoes so that they add a bit of substance but I realise this is not an essential ingredient.

Just tried the fish pie . Very poor . Dry with more mash than fish . Tried the Waitrose Heston fish pie a few day ago and 110% better . Won't but again

Pegoty Hedge is an organic beef and lamb farm in the Malvern Hills close to the River Severn. They supply preared meals to Abel & Cole. Check out the link here http://www.abelandcole.co.uk/chilled-food/prepared-meals
The meals include a hearty cottage pie, a spicy lamb casserole, spicy meatballs and a rich goulash.
