I can't say enough good things about StrangeWays Radio. A friend who shares musical tastes with me introduced me to the station a few months back, and I'm hooked. It plays music you can't find played anywhere else. I especially enjoy the Black Planet and Vicious Pink shows by DJ Pinknoise on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. She always caps her programs with these gems that are rare, quirky or both. I also am a fan of the Halcyon Waves and Sound & Visions shows, too. Another fun feature of the site is the chat room. The DJs are almost always in there and are accessible, fun, ready to listen to your suggestions and talk music (or food) with you. And something else I believe is unique: For a donation, you can create your own hour (or more) show from the ever-growing library. Where else can you do that? I strongly recommend this station for anyone who loves 80s, alternative, gothic, punk and similar genres. I've already made some converts of my friends, too.
